UEA MUSIC CENTRE

UEA launched its own dedicated Music Centre in 2014. Based at the heart of the campus, it works alongside UEA Music Society to keep the musical community alive and strong at UEA.

UEA Music Centre is open to all. It provides a vibrant meeting place for musically gifted students, hosts practice and rehearsal spaces (which Music Society members can use at a discounted rate), offers awards of up to £800 to gifted musicians and helps students to find vocal and instrumental teachers.

It also runs UEA’s flourishing auditioned symphony orchestra, choir and chamber choir and non-auditioned community choir. Unlike UEA Music Society (which is only open to students studying at UEA), UEA Music Centre groups are open to UEA students and staff, as well as members of the public.
