The Music Society’s own jazz ensemble performs to a high standard in a range of musical styles and acts as the society's main function band. Like all the groups, this band is non-auditioned but members tend to be very committed to a high playing and music reading standard, able to solo confidently and to enjoy the camaraderie of a small but tight-knit group of jazz musicians. They are always on the look-out for new faces! Find them after Big Band on a Tuesday evening, 7-8:30pm in the Strode Room, UEA Music Centre.
